Human Resource Development in Fiore Dessert's MSME Business: Strategies to Avoid Business Setbacks

Abstract

This study aims to analyze human resource development strategies in supporting change management to maintain the sustainability of Fiore Dessert as a culinary MSME. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through structured in-depth interviews with the business owner conducted via Zoom on December 10, 2025. The study focuses on key concepts including change management, entrepreneurial orientation, and human resource development. The findings reveal that Fiore Dessert has implemented adaptive strategies through product innovation, digital marketing, and service improvement; however, the change process remains informal and highly dependent on the owner. The study implies that structured change management and enhanced human resource capacity are essential to ensure sustainable business growth.
